"We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals." ~Immanual Kant~
I had 2 guinea-pigs when I was younger. They lived to about 4 years old. They lived in a hutch of about 1m x 0.5m x 0.5m. There was a devision at one end that served as a "bedroom". I also made a run for them that was about 1.5m x 1m x 0.4m and covered in chicken-wire. They spent most days in this out on the grass when the weather was good.

Guinea pigs are so cute. My nephew has one and he brings so much joy and even better they help teach him responsibility.I like hearing him make squeaky noises.
I had a guinea pig growing up. She died when she was 6 years old and she lived well. She had a huge wire cage, but then I let her our frequently (everyday) to run around my room. I have her tons of fresh lettuce and carrots. She was my little queen. When I walked into the room she would make squeaking noises at me.
My piggies love to stretch their hay from the hayrack and to make their own bedding arrangements in that way![]()
