Sad Story I would like to share

Just recently I heard that one of the dogs that my dog played was killed by its owners. Koda was a beautiful dog, and I offered many many times to take him so that he and my dog could be brother and sister. When I heard the news, I broke down and cried. Why I asked, why beat a dog to death if you just simply did no longer want him? I could have given him a wonderful loving home. My dog never got along with any dog like she did Koda, you would have sworn they knew each other from birth. I heard that the owner took his dog in a garbage bag and buried him along side the woods where there is a walking trail. Me and a few others are reporting this to the Animal Society. The worst part is, these people are looking for another dog. It breaks my heart to think that they may do this to another animal. We are doing what we can to get a ban put on them but most times it takes so long, they already have another dog and have abused it as well. I just thought I would share this story and maybe everyone could think of Koda and say a prayer for him. I have attached a picture of him and my dog. Koda is the lighter dog, and what beautiful boy he was.

This breaks my heart and I'm so sorry for everyone's loss. The people that did this are not human. I really hope they don't get to have another animal!! Koda's memory will live in our hearts.

If they already have another dog and are abusing it, then it needs to be taken away for its own safety and well-being, by animal control. I feel very sad for Koda, when the dog could have had a loving home, it's senseless.

Even if you don't know anyone who wants to take your problem dog, bring it to a no-kill shelter, don't just torture/kill it yourself. At least, people can bring it to a vet for humane euthanasia. People who beat their dogs to death, should suffer the same torture, IMO.

Oh how very sad it brings tears to my eyes, just the thought of what that poor dog went through, and what a beautiful dog Koda was. If a human can do that to a dog goodness knows what they could do to another human,I hope that scum pays for it somehow.

Thank you so much for your kind words, it has bothered me deeply for the past few days. I keep expecting to run into him when I take my dog out but of course I don't. Usually cowards do this to animals because they are too weak to do anything to humans. He will be in my heart forever and I couldn't be happier I got some pic of him. I am not usually a picture person, but this one is priceless.
