    Hi Everyone!

Brand new here and just wanted to introduce myself. My name's Donna (obviously ) and I have three rescued dogs: Leah, a 12 1/2 yr old German shep mix, Toby, an 8 1/2 yr old Labrador, and Meadow, a 5ish Vizsla. Although I mostly like to chat about my dogs, I also have two cats - Cinder, a feral rescue, and Mew, a foster who just never left. Nice to meet you all and I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Hi Donna, a warm welcome to the forum, so happy to have you join us here! Sounds like you have a full house there, so nice that you've given a loving home to rescue animals who needed a break, kudos! Would love to see some pics of Leah, Toby, Meadow, Cinder and Mew!

I have a Standard Schnauzer named Hans, who's almost 10 years old, and a 9 month old Manx kitten named Loki. I'm very happy they're getting along so well, as we're getting ready to do a camping trip with them for several weeks in the backwoods.

Welcome! I think it's just wonderful that you've rescued so many furry friends, and I can't wait to hear all about them! I am mostly a cat lady, though I love dogs as well. I have a 4 year old kitty named Arthur, whom I love to talk about around the forum.

Hi Donna, I am new to forums and finding navigation a problem. Trial and error. Its great to see other people with rescued Animals.

We have two rescued dogs at the moment, Springer Spaniel and a lab. cross. Shall be taking them out shortly(sun now shinning). We did have four dogs but lost two of them last year. One of them a staffy cross (a real sweetheart) ate acorns and poisoned herself, still miss her.

We will rescue another one when we have settled into our new house. I will probably volunteer to walk dogs at a local rescue center and one will come home with me.

Time for a walk in the sunshine.

    Hello everyone,

This is a lovely forum. My name is Karen. I love pets of all kinds.

Currently I have Lo, a rescue long-haired tan Chihuahua who likes to sneak out of the house at every chance, a rescue Hamster named Marley, a friendly pet grey mouse named Oscar and a rosetta guinea pig named Oreo. Sometimes I guinea pig sit for my sister who has a short haired guinea pig named Snickers. The two guinea pigs get along famously. They even get along with the dog. One big happy family.

During my lifetime so far I've had a Peek-a-poo named Pepper, a yellow lab named Cierce, a lizard named Durango, a Scorpion named Stalker, a goldfish named Wendell, a snake named Sneaky and a beautiful cat named RP. Of course I had all these various pets at different times of my life. I try very hard to avoid having pets that make each other nervous. I've also volunteered rescuing pugs for short periods of times while good homes were found.

I've enjoyed reading all the intros and can't wait to read all the great posts.

Hi Everyone...just wanted to pop in and thank you for the warm welcome. I signed up during a seriously busy time in my life and probably should have just waited a bit, but I was looking forward to joining and I do hope to start posting here regularly after things die down in a few weeks. Until then, it was nice to meet each of you and learn a bit about your own four-leggers too! :-)
