Hello PF. We boarding/adopting a Bichon Frise. He fears everything. Columbus, GA

    another way to get him to bond with the man of the house is for you to go away for say a weekend and leave the dog with him. He'll have no choice but to go to him and with not around he will bond with the man.
    he is your friend and protector, he will love you unconditionally, you owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion

    Daisy endorses Blue Buffalo LOL. She won't eat canned Wilderness but gobbles up the Wilderness treats and sniffs the plate. Based on the ingredients, BB is a healthy treat.
    Keep your cats safe during the holidays. They deserve a meowy Catmas.

    I give him Tricky Trainers cheese type. He loves them. Still have not gotten him to like me much but I can tell he is conflicted. He runs to me and away from me. The best exchanges happen when I am on the floor too.

    Well you're making some progress and keeping with him on the floor probably makes him less fearful. Still I would think this poor baby had such trauma to overcome but you keeping slow and steady will win him over. Treats do wonders and it's great that you found something he loves.
