It's good to hear that the coconut oil is helping. Sorry I don't have any suggestions about the x-rays but it's good to post as someone may be helpful.

I'm glad you could put a natural product on the paw instead of medicine to make it better.

If anyone has seen this before I'd appreciate knowing what caused it, even if it is getting better.
I also want to thank everyone who has replied so far, especially Alpha1 for the coconut oil idea.
I can't help with reading the x-rays Katiebug, but I'm very happy to hear that the coconut oil helped, hopefully in a short time her paw will be back to normal.

Since you were able to post the x-ray here, I assume you can send it to another vet for getting a second opinion. The toe bones do look more spaced out on the right paw, which makes no sense to me. A vet can explain it.

pumpkins vet believes she has Eosinophilic granuloma complex, which rarely effects the feet. She gets plaques on her face as well, hopefully someone with a similar problem might find this helpful.
Thanks for all the replies guys, my little lady is feeling much better.

I'm glad Pumpkin is feeling better. I never heard of that condition, just posted a little bit of information about it for the others here. I'm sure your vet gave you some info on EGC. Hope she continues to do well, thanks for the update Katiebug. http://www.petforums.com/showthread....8282#post48282

I've never heard of that either but thank goodness you have a diagnosis. Hope Pumpkin keeps getting better. Thanks for the update.
