    I'll try it again

2 1/2 cups baking mix such as bisquick
1/2 cup 7 up or sprite
    1/2 cup sour cream
    1/4 cup melted butter

    Directions:

    preheat oven to 450
in a medium size bowl stir together 2 cups baking mix, soda, sour cream until just combined
sprinkle counter top with 1/4 cup baking mix and dump the dough on to counter top, sprinkle the rest of the baking mix on top of the dough, using your hands mix into the dough, pat the dough out to about 1/2 inch thick
Add more mix as needed to make the dough soft and just barely sticking together

pour melted butter in an 8x8 baking dish
cut the biscuits out and place them in the pan of melted butter

bake 12+15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through

    yields 9 biscuits

No Linda, I actually used to bake more and cook nice dishes years ago when I was working full time, now that I'm retired I have no ambition to make anything from scratch. I actually have a bread machine put away in the basement that I haven't touched for years.
