    Old dog in pain

My old lab Murphy is in pain. A friend of mine uses cbd oil or hemp oil for his dogs pain. Has anyone ever tried this approach?

if the dog is in pain you need to take him to a vet and get pain meds for him.
he is your friend and protector, he will love you unconditionally, you owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion

Hello and welcome to the forum! I have never tried it, but it is readily available where I live for people and pets. I would definitely use it over prescription pain pills from the vet if I could afford it. If it didn't help, then of course I would seek traditional treatment from the vet. The side effects of pain pills in pets and people are usually pretty bad, so anything alternative is a good option if it's affordable. http://www.petforums.com/showthread.php/8607-Medical-Marijuana-for-Your-Pets?highlight=cannabis
