    Happy Thanksgiving 2017

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate. We're not having the traditional meal, king crab legs with hot butter and cocktail sauce, French bread and strawberry rhubarb pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Happy Thanksgiving! We are having the regular meal - turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, jello, cranberry sauce and apple pie with ice cream.

Is that a special breed of turkey or just a very well-fed bird?

I don't know what my sister is making. We celebrate Thanksgiving at her house. She is a vegetarian but the rest of us like turkey.

Even though I'm not making turkey tomorrow, I take advantage of the sales and buy now eat later on. So today I bought a 17 pound Honeysuckle White, it's in the freezer downstairs.

while turkeys are on sale for 39 cents a pound I bought 4 big ones, three are in the freezer and having one tomorrow. I love turkey, then make turkey soup and chop the leftovers for sandwiches.

Do you spoil the pets with some turkey?

I think it would be cool if there is a canned pet food with turkey, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, apples, and gravy called Thanksgiving Dinner for Cats.

My family's traditional dessert was date nut "pudding" (not the American definition of the word) with whip cream on top. It was like dressing: an "only on Thanksgiving" food. I don't know what happened, but years ago Mom stopped making it.

LOL Cats can tell the difference between a slice of turkey and pureed turkey.
