    Nico my baby parrotlet

    Good Morning,
My name is Carmen and I have a 9 week old baby Parrotlet which he is adorable. At first we would grab him out of the cage no problem and put him on us and give him cuddles. we got him 2 weeks ago. now he wont come out of the cage unless you open the door and he goes out on his own. he flys around but when you go to get him he flys away. we use the sick and step up method which he knows. he will step up then get off at his perch. we wont come out on the stick. you put your hand in there but he bites you.
How can i get him to come out of his cage on the stick and come to me without flying away. he wont play with foot toys outside the cage

    Thanks so much

    Carmen

a new home and new people and new surroundings takes time to get used to. Let him adjust at his own pace, once he gets used to you and you handle him gently he'll come around.
he is your friend and protector, he will love you unconditionally, you owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion
