People must be too excited about 2017 ending soon to already be saying this on December 30.

Does anyone have plans to celebrate Sunday night?

I like the fresh start of the new year but don't go out and celebrate. I really can't stay awake to see midnight (sad but true) because I get up so early each day...but I'm not complaining.

I stay up past midnight every day anyway, so it is no different. Well, except last year I petted Patricia at midnight because I knew it was her last full day on Earth.

I found a cute Happy New Year picture on a cat graphics website that features two singing kittens.

Very sad for the loss of your Patricia.

It certainly was very sad to lose her. Definitely not a good way to start 2016. Obviously this time I know 2018 will not have a sad beginning.
