    Question Leaky litterbox?

Daisy uses a large uncovered litterbox with three high sides in the laundry room. It sits on a two-layer mat to prevent litter tracking when she steps out. Recenntly, urine was found along the bottom edges of the box. None of the pee is located where Daisy could have had an accident. This has never happened before with other litterboxes and I can't see a hole or crack for urine to drop through. What could have caused this to happen? I just got another identical box.

There was more than enough to make all of it clump.

They can crack if you lift up the litter box to dump out all the litter or move it when it's full. The weight of the litter is enough to crack the plastic. I think it you cleaned it, completely dried it, then put some clean water in it on a dry surface you could locate the crack and possibly repair it with some type of super glue.

It was much easier to just buy a new one, so Daisy is using that.
