    Question Which is bigger?

Which one is bigger a german shepherd or a wolf? You might say they are about the same but I want to know the right answer?

Please tell me what you think!

    Thank you!

I'd say the larger of the wolves is bigger than a Shepherd. According to a dog book I have Shepherds are around 85 to 100 pounds normally. Linda, how much does your girl Phoenix weigh?

Big grey or timber wolf can be up to 130 pounds.

Gray wolves are the largest of all canines. At 60-90 cm (2-3 ft.) at the shoulder and 1.5 m (4.5-6.5 ft.) in length, gray wolves vary in weight from 25-60 kg (55-130 lb.).

Phoenix is right around 100 pounds. But she is well fed, a wolf may have a bigger frame but if they don't eat enough they will be thinner
