    Snack bags that can be deadly

    I came across this heartbreaking story and needed to share it with everyone. I'm sure this is not the only animal it happened to and I never realized this could occur. Here's the link:

    Poor Petey. There was no way he could have known not to stick his head in the bag like that. The article states this is a common incident. I have watched "funny" cat videos of box lovers being unable to get continers off their heads. They aren't funny to people who have had it happen to them.

    That's terrible Esme, guess that happens with regular baggies too, I imagine the gallon size might do some damage and stop breathing.

    Maru is a Japanese cat whose owners make viral videos, the videos are staged for entertainment and not to be taken too seriously in my opinion.

    I don't take the videos seriously when I watch him. They are hilarious.

    I can't imagine coming home and finding my pet dead or dying from a stupid snack bag. Such a tragic accident and I hope getting the word around helps prevent another.
