    My Mother's ring

My daughter couldn't send it back because it was custom made so she ordered me another just like it in a bigger size. Don't know what I'll do with this one but I'll have two. This is the ring

Very nice ring, too bad the size caused such a problem.

she's already ordered the new one, I don't know what I'll do with this one but she couldn't return it, because of the diamonds all around it couldn't be resized. the picture doesn't really show the colors of the stones, two august, one october, one sept, and one may. No July, a ruby would have been nice

The ring is beautiful! It is even better that she can just get a replacement instead of having the stones taken of the original ring.

There is no April either, so what are the diamonds for?

I'm not sure, maybe just accents for the other stones

That is lovely Linda! If I were you I would try to wear it on my pinkie or a smaller finger. Just throwing that idea out there.

    That's beautiful!!

Have you thought about taking it to a jeweler and have it taken apart, melted down, and turned into a matching pendant for the ring that fits?

I did that with my Mom's emerald and diamond birthstone ring after she passed. I couldn't wear it either.

Oh wow that is a cool idea. How can a jeweler do it?

I'm not really sure. I think they pull the stones and melt down the gold and remake it into any design you want, depending on how many stones and all.

My Mom's was made into a gold swirl with the 3 stones in the center. I wish I had a pic of it, but I gave it to my daughter on her wedding day.
