I started a sequel, but I guess I had writer's block or something. It seemed nothing worked.

At times, I wish my cats talked. Then again, I'm glad they don't, especially when I step out of the shower and catch them staring at me.

Saav, I read the beginning chapters of your book and I must say it's a very interesting and fun read! I like your style, you're very talented! Thanks for sharing your work with us! Will finish the book when I get more time to sit and enjoy it.

    Thanks Alpha1!

I tried to write it as the cats understand their people, and vice versa. Thank you so much!

I sent this to a friend yesterday, with the idea of updating it. I won't change any of the cats or dog or people, but for instance, wireless cards and cat5 cables are not necessary any more, etc.

She said if I updated it and decided to put it on Amazon as print on demand, she wants to illustrate it. She's a gifted artist and I thought it would be a nice touch. Of course if this happens she would get a generous part of any sales I get.

    What do you all think?

I hope you like my book.

I think that's great, some quality illustrations will definitely enhance the story and give it a very nice and interesting touch. Anyone would have to be compensated for their work and contribution to your book Saav, but it's nice that she's a friend and well worth it, IMO. Good luck!

I'm working on it. Of course I would give her half 50/50 or maybe more. I believe illustrations take so much of work, as in writing it took a bunch of work.

I believe in being fair and honest and do what is right. I have told her if the illustrations are what I like (I already think so) and I can do this, she has half (50/50) of any proceeds of sales.

I have paid her $500.00 to do the initial illustrations. She's working on it and so far what I have seen, oh my they are great!

Is $500.00 enough for a beginning and helping her do this? Any advice?

I have no idea what one would pay for that, but I think a 50/50 deal is extremely generous on your part...and the $500 is a handsome sum also for her work. Good luck with your book, I'm curious to see the illustrations.

I have an issue with the sequel. Ruffie passed, I didn't write any more, Lilly passed, Meows passed, Belle passed, Isis passed ... I just can't go on with it.

I think I will let it be as it is.

    I'm sorry.
