I'm getting started with pets again!

    Hi everyone,

I am wanting a pet again and am wondering if any of you know what a good starter pet is. I had a cat about 7 years ago. Maybe ducks or rabbits?

    Thanks!

I think a rabbit would be easier to care for than a duck I imagine. Do you live alone and have a back yard? How about a pair of guinea pigs? I never owned any of these smaller animals, so I don't have personal experience.

I do not live alone but I do have a back yard, and don't guinea pigs smell? They do look cute!

I've heard that their cages or habitats need frequent cleaning or they will smell bad, and that they shed, also that they're very social, so getting two is the best way to go.

Thank you CW I am most interested in Rabbits right now. Can anyone give me info on them? And if anyone has or had a rabbit then please tell me what they are like and if they are easy to care for!

Get a tarantula. You can train them to bring in the newspaper. They can also learn "Sit", "Twirl", and "Crawl up my friend's back".
