overcrowded fish tank. Please help with advice?

    Hello

Over the past 4 days my 2 10 gallon tanks have leaked. They were on an uneven surface so I know why it happened.
I have 16 female Betta that made up 3 different sorority tanks. i also have 4 Siamese algae eating catfish and 2 mystery snails that for the moment are all sharing the 20 gallon that is remaining. My question is: What sizes tank should we get to replace the 2 10s? And how would you divide the fish and snails so that they are all in proper homes?

Thank you for all of your advice.

get the biggest tanks you can afford. They will enjoy a big tank with more room for them to swim than all cramped in a small tank.

I know that I need bigger tanks. I'm just not sure if i should get multiple 20s or something much larger? I'm doing water changes ever 2 days until payday in 3 days.
