    Question Dry cat food storage

I physically can't seal cat food bags. The only way to keep dry food fresh and Mom's picky nose happy is get a plastic container to transfer the food into. Well, she wants me to order something with a handle and spout for pouring food out. I am not thrilled with that idea because of the weight when such a container is full and inability to measure food amounts. The maximum height clearance is 8 inches. What do you suggest?

Also, is my mom weird when she says cat food stinks? She has never really been a "cat person" the way I am, but adamantly denied that is the reason she hates smelling cat food.

get some of the bigger lock and lock containers. They are air tight, water tight and easy to open and close. I keep cat treats in a big lock and lock bowl. Sandy tips the bowl over, rolls it on its dies and one by one opens the clips, then once the top pops off she and the other cats eat them, if there are any left Phoenix helps herself. Easy enough for the cat to open so I'm sure you could handle it

I had no idea cats could do that. What I can't open are medication bottle caps (which are supposed to be cat-proof).Tupperware container lids work for me after they have been used a while, but not right out of the box.

Do you have a picture of one?
