    Should I Worry?

The thing that worries me is the change in color. It used to be kind of a gray color like her skin, but now it’s got this red, fleshy color to it. It does not bother her when I poke or gently squeeze it, nor when I palpate the surrounding boney areas. She has no limp and no discharge or bleeding from it.

Have you visited a vet? I can't help you with that coz i have no experience to that. God bless.

the dog needs to see a vet, the longer you wait the worse it may be. Make an apt ASAP
he is your friend and protector, he will love you unconditionally, you owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion

I agree with the others, please take the dog to the doctor as soon as possible to find out what that is from and get some treatment for it. The dog is suffering like that, surprised you haven't taken her to the vet in a year already, if it was my dog, I'd be very worried.
