Winter is here!

    The cold is even worse on a windy day. The wind literally takes my breath away when I walk into it.
    Keep your cats safe during the holidays. They deserve a meowy Catmas.

    You're in Florida, how cold can it get? Your cold would probably be a heat wave to me at this time of year.

    It snowed again last night. Only a little bit but it is still snow. The average temp is around 20F! COLD!

    I was born and raised in Ohio. This week marks 7 years since I moved to Florida. So when I talk about winter weather, I am referring to temperatures and precipitation up there, not down here.

    Gainesville does not get snow or ice even when the temperatures drop below freezing. Native Floridians probably think 40 degrees is cold because then they get "freexe warnings" and have to cover up some of their plants.
