    Lightbulb No old thread posting?

    Hey all,

Today when I clicked on "new posts" there was a LOT of new things. When I looked over all the names of the threads...they were all old threads that have not been posted on for about 3 months to a year or more. For most of them, the person who posted the the thread is not active anymore, or already has the answer he/she needs.

BTW, it is usually the same person who does about 5-10 old threads at a time.

Not saying this is bad, but it is a little annoying....at least to me. Giving info that has already been given and such. I think the person is just trying to help but shouldn't they read the other replies first? Just to make sure they are not giving info already given once or twice. Also, if the thread is that old I would think the person has what they need unless they come back and ask more.

    What do you think?

    Thanks.
I love my chicks and they love me!

Nothing wrong with reviving older threads if you have something you want to add or the topic is of interest to you, whether the original poster is still active or not. Many times there's helpful information in older threads that can be of some value to members who have never read the thread before.

Ok, but why do they have to so many at once?

They are probably interested in giving their reply/opinion to more than one thread, absolutely nothing wrong with that Yeti and they are welcome to do that as a member here.

Yeti, many old threads are read every day by guests who come by searching related keywords. By adding more relevant replies these old threads will be even more helpful. I personally encourage our members to revive old threads when applicable.

Well, alright then. Does that mean I should do it too?
