Definitely right, I don't want to remember his struggling self when he was so pale.

Wouldn't feel weird if you pet your stuffed cat??

I can only speak of my older sister, whom we had stuffed after she passed away, and my family has never regretted it. She is always sitting at the kitchen table where we eat, and in the morning we put pop-tarts in her hands to remember the good times. My Mom dresses her in a different outfit every day- you know, just to keep things fresh.

I guess you're right. Is there anything to apply to the fur of the stuffed pet to maintain soft and smooth fur?

No. Every time I looked at it I would think of Norman Bates. Photos and videos are plenty.
