    He has tried to wander down our block once when we wanted him to get in the car to go to the park in the morning, so I watch him like a hawk and mostly leash him until he can be fully trusted. He'll keep walking away slowly if I try to go after him and grab his collar, but if I turn around and act like I don't care, he'll follow me, so that's a good thing. He'd be much better if I devoted some time to training, he's very smart, I've just been lax in doing that and need to get on the ball. He's still the size we wanted, a 30 pounder, he should be at full growth.

    ah I just saw this sorry, but BF id doing very well. My two are heavy and strong as can be! Jax is 62 lbs and Josie is 66. They are not overweight either the vet said they look good. They are just so muscular . 30 pounds would be a treat for me! lol lol

    Wow, they did get big there, but that should be their full adult weight by now. Watch your knees when they roughhouse, I'm always extra careful when the dogs are running wild at the park, too many folks got knee injuries there and one woman was knocked down and broke her hip by her own dog, black Lab. Glad they're happy and healthy!
