Dog has black scabs around neck

My Labrador has a few scabs on his neck area. Didnt think much of them. Doesn’t bother him. Anyway went for a checkup to vet on Wednesday.
he had bloodwork has he is getting a teeth cleaning. Bloodwork came back perfect.
Vet decided to aspirate the one scab area.
Havent gotten results back yet.
I am a worry wart so I am worried as to what it could be.

She mainly aspirated as he is going under anisthesia for teeth cleaning. Wanted to see if it was anything that needed removal so he didn’t have to be put under again. Of course I am worried about the worst case scenario of a cancerous growth, but having a few around his neck it could be many other things.

Okay well I got my results. The aspirate showed bacterial infection. Dog is put on antibiotics.
