Help with picky Pac Man frog

I need help with getting my pac man frog to eat Dubia roaches instead of crickets because right now with the pandemic and all I would rather not constantly going to the pet store because all of my crickets are dying in two weeks and I know dubia roaches are much hardier because a few months ago I got some from my cousin and I forgot about them and I just found them today alive and kicking! If anybody also knows tricks to get them to eat nightcrawlers that would be helpful too! Thanks in advance!

Hunger is a great motivator. Maybe wait longer than usual before introducing a new type of prey item that way he just reacts out of instinct when he sees the movement of the food instead of being picky. In the wild they naturally would go longer than in captivity without being fed so I wouldn't feel bad about doing it. I had an argenitine horned frog years ago, i think this is the same as what they are calling the pac man frog today but not sure, and he would literally eat anything that moved.
