How many DeKay’s brown snakes in a 10 gal?

Hey!
The title says it all.
Also, the dimensions are 20”x10”x12”. It’s going to be a front opening tank. I know they are small and escape artists, how can I reduce the change of them escaping?

I would say two to three Dekay's Brown snakes for a 10 gallon. Just make sure you give them plenty of leaf litter and hides. (I would go with two if you want to play it safe, though you could fit three if you wanted.
