mini schnauzer with kidney disease

My 13 1/2 yr old mini schnauzer has kidney and heart disease. I am looking for experiences from anyone that has done fluid injections at home. Was it hard to do? Was it costly? Did you feel it really helped with quality of life and time? I am really struggling today.

Hi, sorry, I don't know about this. But I know it is rough and disorienting when your dog is sick and you're not sure what to do. You have been writing this story for 13 1/2 years, so you have definitely been doing a good job. Keep the faith. Remember to breathe. When we're stressed we get tightened up and less oxygen gets to the head where it is always needed. You are doing the right things.
